DBasia.news – Jan Vertonghen officially left Tottenham Hotspur and joined the Portuguese club Benfica on Saturday (15/8). Vertonghen officially leaves The Spurs on a free transfer after eight years at The Lilywhites.
The 33-year-old Belgian international made over 300 appearances for The Spurs. Benfica finished runner-up in the Portuguese league last season and will enter the Champions League in the third qualifying round.
